Usme 5 passport, 3 ATM cards aur drugs hain. Case Mumbai Crime Branch ko transfer ho raha hai." Suresh ji kuch samajh paate, usse pehle call "transfer" ho gayi — ab screen par ek video call thi. Saamne khaki uniform mein ek "officer", peechhe deewaar par Ashok Stambh, table par naam ki plate, aur background mein wireless set ki awaazein. Officer ne unka Aadhaar number padh kar sunaya — bilkul sahi tha. Phir wo vaakya bola jo is scam ka trademark hai: "Aap abhi se digital arrest mein hain. Camera ke saamne rahiye. Kisi ko bataya toh non-bailable warrant nikal jayega."
Agle 26 ghante Suresh ji camera ke saamne baithe rahe. Khana camera ke saamne khaya, bathroom jaane ki "permission" li. Aur "verification" ke naam par apni retirement ki poori bachat — ₹43 lakh — teen alag-alag accounts mein RTGS kar di. Jab beta agle din milne aaya, tab pata chala ki koi case tha hi nahin, koi officer tha hi nahin — aur ab paisa bhi nahin tha.
Ye kahani ekdum common pattern par likhi gayi hai — aur yehi iska sabse darawna hissa hai: ye script har roz saikdon gharon mein repeat ho rahi hai. Scene 1: The Hook (Courier/TRAI call)
Shuruaat aksar ek automated ya normal call se hoti hai — "FedEx/DHL/India Post" ka parcel drugs ke saath pakda gaya, ya "TRAI" se ki aapke number par illegal activity hui hai aur 2 ghante mein number band ho jayega. Ye hook isliye kaam karta hai kyunki isme aapki koi galti nahin batayi jaati — aapki identity ka misuse bataya jaata hai. Aap victim ho, criminal nahin — isliye aap defensive nahin, cooperative ho jaate ho. Yehi pehla psychological trap hai.
Scene 2: The Transfer (Fake police/CBI)
"Aapka case Mumbai/Delhi Crime Branch ko transfer kar rahe hain" — aur call ek "senior officer" ko de di jaati hai. Ab production value shuru hoti hai: uniform, fake ID card camera par dikhana, peechhe police station jaisa set (kai gangs baakayda studio banate hain), Ashok Stambh, wireless ki awaazein. Aapka Aadhaar/PAN number bola jaata hai — jo data leaks se pehle hi khareeda ja chuka hota hai. Sahi personal details sunte hi dimaag maan leta hai: "ye toh asli hain".
Scene 3: The Isolation (Digital arrest)
"National security ka mamla hai — kisi ko bataya toh aap bhi accomplice ban jaayenge." Ye line scam ka engine hai. Victim ko parivaar, doston aur — sabse important — sochne ke samay se kaat diya jaata hai. Camera on rakhwana sirf nigraani nahin; ye psychological technique hai jisse aapke paas akele baithkar shaant dimaag se sochne ka ek pal nahin bachta. Scammers shifts mein kaam karte hain — victim thak jaata hai, wo nahin thakte.
Scene 4: The Extraction (RBI verification)
Ant mein "hal" pesh hota hai: "Aap innocent lagte hain. Bas RBI ke supervision account mein paisa transfer kar dijiye — 24 ghante mein verify hokar wapas aa jayega, clearance certificate ke saath." Kabhi fake "RBI letter" ya "Supreme Court order" ka PDF bhi bheja jaata hai — sarkari seal ke saath. Yaad rakhiye: RBI kabhi kisi individual ka paisa "verify" nahin karta, aur koi bhi jaanch aapke paise transfer karwa kar nahin hoti. Paisa jaate hi mule accounts ke jaal se hota hua nikal jaata hai — isliye pehle 24 ghante (golden hours) mein report karna hi wapasi ka sabse bada chance hai.

- ⏰ 2. Manufactured urgency — "2 ghante mein warrant", "aaj hi settle karo". Jab dimaag ka fear-circuit active hota hai, logical reasoning practically band ho jaati hai. Har scam ki jaldbaazi isi liye hoti hai.
- 😨 3. Shame & secrecy — drugs/money-laundering jaise ilzaam par log parivaar ko batane mein sharmate hain. Scam ki poori zindagi is secrecy par tikti hai — jaise hi koi teesra insaan sunta hai, 10 second mein bhaanda phoot jaata hai.
- 🐸 4. Gradual commitment — pehle sirf "statement", phir "documents", phir "chhota verification amount", phir sab kuch. Har chhota haan agle bade haan ko aasaan banata hai. Isliye ₹500 bhi kabhi transfer mat kariye.

Agar call aa jaye — step by step
- Phone kaat dijiye. Asli agency naraaz nahin hogi — kyunki asli agency thi hi nahin. Kanoonan aap koi bhi call disconnect karne ke liye poori tarah azad hain.
- Kisi ko turant batayein. Parivaar, padosi, koi bhi — scam secrecy par zinda hai, sunlight par mar jaata hai.
- Number report karein — Chakshu portal (sancharsaathi.gov.in) par, taaki agle victim tak ye number pahunche hi nahin.
- Paisa chala gaya ho toh: bina ek minute gawaye 1930 dial karein aur cybercrime.gov.in par complaint karein — transaction IDs, screenshots, call recording ke saath. Apne bank ko bhi turant inform karein; pehle 24 ghante mein paisa freeze hone ke chances sabse zyada hote hain.
- Sharm bilkul nahin. Is scam ne bade-bade professionals ko nahin chhoda. Report karna hi bahaduri hai — aapki report kisi aur ka ghar bacha sakti hai.
